Red White & Blue was constructed over 30 years ago by industrial chemist Roy Connaughton. Roy a keen restorer himself identified a need for a good quality tank liner and felt the liners on the market could be improved he also added a one stop kit with cleaners etc. Roy was the first to provide a complete kit. Red White & Blue is now sold all over the world and comes highly recommend by its uses.

What Roy came up with was the world’s best tank lining system from start to finish. Red white & blue uses epoxy resin technology free from solvent using the best-selected ingredients from Roy’s experience of his working life as Industrial chemist.

Red White & Blue tank liner/sealant kits contain all the components needed to repair tanks which are rusted inside and holed as a result of corrosion provided that the instructions are followed the kit contains enough material to cover the largest of fuel tanks.

RUST REMOVER

Disolved into 4 litres of clean water.

METAL preTREATMENT

Added to 2 litres of boiling water and vigorously shaken inside of the tank.

EPOXY RESIN

Blue resin used to seal the tank.

HARDENER

Added to the blue resin and mixed well to line your tank.

The Process

Start to Finish Tank Liner Kit

The film is produced under almost any ambient conditions is not highly inflammable and has excellent adhesion to steel particularly aluminium. It is especially resistant to petrol and other commonly used fuels including ethanol and alcohol blends. Red White & Blue in curing by chemical reaction actually chemically bonds to the cleaned metal surface rather than just gripping by way of shrinkage as the case with solvent based products. There are no toxic or inflammable solvents to cause problems or to be retained in the film. Red White & Blue will repair polyester fiberglass carbon fibre reinforced plastic tanks and epoxy reinforced plastic substrates these latter substrates are not recommended as suitable for coating with solvent based products.
